  • Covid 19 and your mental health and wellbeing

    28th July 2020

While COVID-19 is something we can’t see or touch, it has had a deep impact on our community’s mental health and wellbeing.

It’s taken away our independence, our jobs and for many, our livelihoods. It’s made us stay in our homes. Kept us isolated and unable to move freely. It’s taken our children out of schools. It’s distanced us from the ones we love and care about. It’s meant more of us are living on our own.

COVID-19 has turned our lives upside down. It’s made us question, feel and fear things we never have before. It’s stressful, unsettling and overwhelming, and it’s left so many of us physically and socially lonelier than we ever have before.  For more information, make an appointment with your GP or find out more here.
